July Blog – From the Desk of Steve Harris, CEO & President

Team,

As we begin the second half of the year, I want to extend my sincere thanks for your continued dedication and hard work. Your efforts have driven strong performance in the first half, and I’m excited to share some key highlights.

Through June, our year-to-date revenue is ahead of both budget and last year’s results. Even more impressively, EBITDA is 3% above budget and significantly higher than the prior year. These results reflect our relentless focus on customer service, organizational efficiency, and the disciplined execution of our Rally Cry priorities: Clean Orders, Optimization of Distribution and Logistics, Key Account Growth, and Mitigation of Tariff Impacts. Our commitment to customer satisfaction is clearly making a difference.

Recently, we’ve received some external attention, including an article in Inside Lighting referencing our financial reporting. To clarify: our approach is to communicate financial results directly with you during business updates—not with our competitors. As a private company, we are under no obligation to publicly share detailed financial information, and most of our privately held peers follow the same practice. That’s why we made the decision to remove those details from the AIP platform. Our focus remains on open and transparent internal communication.

Over the past two years, we’ve made deliberate choices to prioritize profitability over top-line growth. Strategic exits from areas like horticulture and Asia-to-Asia selling are examples of this realignment. These decisions have strengthened our foundation and improved overall company performance. The market is taking notice—feedback from end users, agents, and engineering firms has been overwhelmingly positive. They believe in our direction and want us to win.

In recent months, Chip, Tom, Jason, and I have been out in the field promoting Current and, more importantly, listening. The energy is real. Our investments in digital tools, service enhancements, and product innovation are gaining traction. Customers want more—and the creativity and collaboration from our sales and product teams is inspiring.

We’re building momentum, and we’re just getting started. I look forward to sharing more at our next All Employee Meeting.

Let’s keep pushing forward.

Steve
