The sales team in Canada extended a special thank you to the Tijuana plant for their exceptional dedication and hard work in successfully completing a critical project for the Beanfield Exhibition Place in Toronto. This iconic event center, a hub for important gatherings in the city, recently underwent a lighting replacement project, and thanks to the tireless efforts of the Tijuana team, 353 fixtures (LJT - LED Commodity Lensed Troffer were delivered on time and with impeccable quality.

The efficiency with which the Tijuana team worked ensured that all fixtures were installed seamlessly, transforming the venue with a modern and beautiful look, just in time for the center's upcoming events. The client is extremely satisfied with the results, and the Tijuana plant’s ability to meet the tight deadlines and exceed expectations was integral to the success of this project. We would like to express our gratitude to the Tijuana team for their outstanding work, unwavering dedication, and for always putting the customer first. #AlwaysOn.

How Good is your Gym Hygiene?

Anyone who has spent any time in a gym knows that it has its own basic etiquette: You put free weights away once you’ve used them. You don’t hog the equipment when the place is crowded. You don’t grunt or swear if you’re lifting heavy weights. You don’t hover over a gym member on a piece of equipment you want to use. You resist giving unsolicited advice…AND you wipe down the equipment you’ve used and any sweat that’s on the ground!

“There’s no more egregious violation of gym etiquette than leaving a puddle of sweat behind,” according to FitDay, a website that, among other things, tracks various aspects of physical fitness. “You don’t have to clean every little crevice but wiping off your sweat shows that you have respect for your fellow gym-goers.”

Wiping up is more than just polite: Bacteria thrive in the warm and moist environment of a gym. Just as germs can be spread from person-to-person (like shaking someone’s hand after they’ve sneezed into it), some can also be spread through shared equipment (anything from a dumbbell to a pulley to the arms and saddle of a spin bike). So let’s get cleaning!

Phishing is one of the oldest and most common forms of cybercrime. In a phishing scam, fraudsters send fake emails, text messages, or social media posts that appear to come from legitimate companies or institutions, asking you to click on links or provide personal information.

How to Avoid It:

• Always check the sender’s email address for signs of fraud like small variations in spelling or domain names.
• Never click on links or download attachments from unknown sources.
• Verify requests directly with the company using a phone number or website you trust.

• Current runs various security tools on our email and web browsing to detect and block phishing scams.
• The InfoSec team regularly sends test phishing emails to keep awareness of the tactics and formats attackers use.
• We investigate every email that is reported using the Phish Alert Report button and use those to better protect the company.

Tech support scams involve fraudsters impersonating employees of well-known companies like Microsoft or Apple. They claim your computer has a virus and offer to fix it remotely. Often, they will ask for access to your computer or financial information.

How to Avoid It:

• Legitimate companies will never call you unsolicited about tech problems.
• Hang up on unsolicited tech support calls and report them to the company they claim to represent.
• Use well-known and reputable antivirus software to protect your devices.

What Current Does:

• The Current IT and Helpdesk staff will contact you through Teams, a Summit ticket, or our internal email if an issue is detected. A call to a cellphone may also be required.
• We will coordinate a time for remote diagnostics if needed through the Teams screen share capability, not through a separate application or website.

Fake websites and listings have become increasingly common. These scams often involve counterfeit websites that look like popular e-commerce sites, offering irresistible deals on products. Once you make a purchase, either the product never arrives, or it's a cheap knockoff.

How to Avoid It:

• Stick to well-known, reputable websites when shopping online.
• Before buying, do some research on the website and check for reviews or complaints outside of the website.
• Shop only on trusted websites and look for "https://" or a padlock symbol in the URL to ensure a secure connection.

• Use credit cards for purchases, as they offer more fraud protection than other payment methods.
• Be cautious of sites that are cash-only (e.g. ACH, Zelle, etc.).

In this type of scam, you’re told you have won a lottery or a contest that you did not enter, but to claim your prize, you must first pay a fee or provide your bank account details. The scammers may also ask for personal information.

How to Avoid It:

• If you did not enter a contest, you did not win.
• Legitimate lotteries do not ask winners to pay fees upfront.
• Never give out personal information to someone you have not verified.

How to Avoid It:

It took approximately four months to fill the "Heart of Caps," a remarkable community effort that showcases the power of solidarity and commitment to noble causes. Each collected cap represents a step towards hope and dignity for those facing this challenging disease.
