Current Brightens LightX with Roaring 20's Theme

Design expo

Current was the talk of the show, and the buzz was awesome. LightX 2024 customers hail from the extensive markets served by Bell & McCoy Lighting and Controls and FRM Lighting & Controls across the Southern U.S., spanning from the Carolinas and Florida to Arizona. This broad reach ensured a diverse mix of attendees with a wide spectrum of insights and needs.

The two agencies merged in 2023 and this year’s event allowed Current and other manufacturers to engage in-depth with customers. The big takeaway was that Current showed strong connections and products. “I mean, who knew they had so many brands and people in their corner,” said one participant. A lot of planning went into making this the best LightX show yet, with approximately 190 Manufacturers, 600 customers, 200 + 1’s, and 150 from the BMLC and FRMLC teams.

Shea Parker, Area Sales Manager, taught two CEU Classes – congrats Shea! Lighting Design for Interior Spaces and Downlighting for Architectural Spaces. He had great attendance. Interested in learning more? Check out the highlights of the panel discussion bringing top executives from leading lighting and controls manufacturers together. The panel consisted of our very own, Chip Taylor, Chief Commercial Officer, Current, Brendon Van Campen, Vice President Sales - North America Commercial, Lutron, Jenny Brust, Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing, H.E. Williams, Pablo Leguina, Senior Vice President, LSI Industries Inc., Rob Duncan, Vice President - Lighting and Controls, Bell & McCoy Companies and FRM.

Oftentimes our agents, distributors and customers are looking for direction beyond just what they can find in Connect, Oasis and our website. The marketing team recently published a flip book of key contacts at Current. This is a great tool to use externally and may help you learn about your very own colleagues, too. Curious?.
