Women's Day

LumenWe celebrate International Women's Day with the theme of #InspireInclusion. LUMEN invites you to join together March 7th in honor of the history of women’s rights by wearing purple. International Women’s Day is recognized in many countries all over the world since its origin in 1977. When women are inspired to be included, there is a sense of belonging, relevance, and empowerment.

To learn more about the #InspireInclusion movement, join the free seminar, "Women's Inclusion in the Modern Workplace", facilitated for us by our international Employee Assistance Program.

Heart Health at Beachwood

The Beachwood team celebrated American Heart Association’s (AHA) Heart Month in February to raise awareness and reinforce the importance of heart health with a wear Red Day.

A less researched area of care is women’s heart health. Heart disease takes the life of 1 in 3 women. Participating in research could help change that and the AHA is looking for help. The AHA established Go Red for Women, a national campaign to raise awareness of heart disease and stroke as leading killers of women and to advance the science of sex differences in heart disease. As we celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8th, think about whether you would like to participate in the fight against heart disease.

We also want to express our heartfelt appreciation to the 9 employees who recently completed the training program for First Aid/CPR/AED in Beachwood. This aligns with our commitment to fostering a safe and supportive work environment.
