JON TURRILL – MOST VALUABLE PARTNER
Every Year Florida Lighting Associates picks one employee from their manufacturing partners that demonstrates value. Nominees are selected by employees of the company and the FLA president and executive leadership select the winner. Amongst many other nominees, Current’s very own Jon Turrill, Customer Service Associate was selected and awarded this key distinction.
Glenn Krohn, president, shared, “He is always helpful, and he cares about quality work. Earlier this year was a challenging time for all of us, especially the people on the front line taking the calls to get orders shipped to customers. Jon excelled during that rough time and made our Project Management Teams' life better. We appreciate his efforts and feel that he should be recognized for his excellent work.” Congratulations Jon!

DOGS AND HOLIDAY FAIR
Greenville hosted a recent Holiday Fair with vendors and a local dog rescue that brought two adorable pups. The rescue, Too Broke Girls, is a registered 501(c)3 organization that provides second chances to homeless and unwanted companion animals. Please meet Stanley, a 1-year-old chihuahua Yorker mix male and Hela, a 1-year-old pit-hound-boxer mix female available for adoption. If you or anyone you know is looking for a fuzzy friend, pass this information along and let’s get these pups in some homes for the Holidays. Foster families are also needed to host animals for shorter periods of time. Interested in becoming a foster family? Please contact toobrokegirlsrescue.org.

PROJECT JOY
The Greenville team was proud to sponsor a number of families this season as part of their annual United Way participation. Project Joy was launched in 2020 to help make the season bright for families in our community by alleviating some of the burden of the holiday season and fulfilling a wish list of essential items. While most holiday programs focus on younger children, Project Joy specifically seeks to respond to the unmet needs of older students and their families. Thank you GVL team!
HVL - TWELVE DAYS OF ACTIVITIES
The team recently unveiled Twelve Days of activities: decorating work areas, taking holiday pictures using props in the cafeteria, joining an Ugly Sweater and Pajama Day event … and more. Awesome year-end spirit HVL!

The HVL team also sponsored ten children for the holiday season - thank you HVL for your generosity.
